THE TREATMENT

During the procedure, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area to reduce your discomfort. The Virtue RF handpiece will be moved across your face and you’ll feel the microneedles slowly puncturing the skin. Once the needles are in the skin, they will emit RF energy from their tips to the dermis. You may feel light pressure from the device but there’s virtually no pain during the treatment.

THE RECOVERY

Microneedling with radiofrequency treatment. Redness, shedding, and dryness are common during healing and resolve within a few days. Considerations on strenuous activities and skincare should be taken for a few days. Most patients will require an initial series of at least 3 or 4 treatments to see the desired results. You may require more treatments if you have moderate-to-severe skin concerns, such as deep acne scarring or dynamic wrinkles.
